The Mysterious Man and The Yellow Silk Skirt

When I just opened my shop in Mid May, a mysterious man barged in my shop. He was about 40+++, no doubt a blue collar, wore a dirty shirt and pants, and only checked out the female dresses. He looked very suspicious to me, to be honest.

He asked me the price of a yellow silk dress, and we exchanged some conversation before he left empty handed. Up until today, he had visited my shop 4 times. Every time he came, he would check out the same yellow silk dress and ask for discount. And I'd tell him again and again, I had a fixed price policy.

Today I learned that he intended to buy it for a girl (not girl friend, he insisted), and she was a Korean now living in the USA. From the way he talked and what he revealed about himself, I had no doubt that he was a blue collar who didn't make much money. But this was a car technician who claimed he liked fashion. And he actually knew Chloe, Jimmy Choo and even Michael Poh!

I still don't know the relationship between him and the girl. But I think he truly had great love for fashion and the girl.

Now, if you were me, what would you do? Will you give him discount, deduct the price to a point that he can afford?

Wendy is a sweet little girl, always smiley, I think that's because she knows her smile could melt any hearts. During the beginning of the photo session, we put on some dresses on her, to give her a more mature look.

Got a TV Host Model for Me

This super energetic and handsome young man is a friend's friend, and I heard he was a TV host. We met for the first time and he was nice enough to model for me.

There will be No Obstacle

No obstacle. That's the meaning of her Chinese name, Wu Ai. In Buddhism, it also means you are free from hatred, jealousy, greed, anger, obsession, vanity... All these are obstacles to the road of nirvana.

A special lady with a special name. She came from London for vacation, saw a LOFT of things in Ai Ling's facebook, and asked Ai Ling to take her here before she flew back to London. Although she looks graceful and quiet in Ai Ling's camera lens, she is in fact bold and decisive, makes you easily associate her to an alpha female. So which one is the real Wu Ai?

无碍是爱玲的中学同学，在伦敦工作，回来度假时，在爱玲的FB上看到a LOFT of things的照片，想要过来看看。爱玲镜头下的无碍是那么幽静娴雅，活脱脱像个张曼娟。其实，无碍说话举止爽朗得多，带点领袖气质。到底是爱玲捕捉了爽朗外表下最真实的无碍，还是片面的影像终究无法表达真实的人生？真让人疑惑。
