This season, the most notable trend on international runway is most certainly - PRINT.

Animal, floral, paisley or retro - the catwalks were laden with patterns of every size and design. From Miu Miu, Alexander Wang to D&G, print is dominating runway.

It certainly adds lots of fun to spring summer fashion.

Good Old Days. Vintage Style

What is vintage style? Why vintage style? You ask.

Vintage style is all about getting inspired by the style from the good old days, and giving it a new life. We love vintage style because it's unique. Because it looks cool. Best dressed fashionistas like Kate Moss, Agyness Deyn rock the fashion world because they advocate for vintage clothing and create their unique images!

That's right, Vintage Style is the style a LOFT of things advocates for.

 

老好日子

我常遗憾自己继承了母亲细瘦的身材，无法像父亲一样丰神俊秀，玉树临风。父亲年轻时，是篮球队高手，又从小干体力活养家，锻炼出了好身形。每回看父母的旧照片，总是很羡慕父亲贲张的二头肌，宽阔的胸膛，细细的腰板。

这实在是遗憾啊。当然，对一名时尚爱好者来说，这遗憾的一大部分，也来自于无法继承爸爸年轻时穿过的衣服。

尤其在古着（vintage clothing）大行其道的今天。

翻开相簿，许多时尚爱好者，难免发出这样的感叹：怎么那个年代的衣服那么漂亮，那么有气质。黑白照片里，女孩们戴着大发箍，穿着Twiggy那种线条干净 的A字型连身裙，秀气而慧黠。还有碎花及膝裙，配上干净的白衬衫，梳两条辫子——那是个质朴而奋发的年代，尽管物质并不丰裕，但大家仿佛都怀抱美好的理 想。

还有还有，男孩女孩都穿的喇叭裤，配上紧贴身体的上衣。男士们刘海长长的，女孩们烫个大波浪卷。哦。喇叭裤。那是70年代了。不过，70年代也是个多么迷人的年代。嬉皮们对爱与和平的向往，还有带有民族色彩的嬉皮时尚，都令太晚出生的我遗憾没机会参与其盛。

当然，这也可能只是我一厢情愿的nostalgia，一种对老好时光的乡愁，就如电影《Midnight in Paris》。我在想，其他的古着爱好者，看过去的年代，是否也总带着玫瑰色的眼镜呢？

古着风从日本、欧洲开始，慢慢燃烧到全世界，这些年来不但不退流行，而且从小众走向大众，如今，连我国的fashionista们也开始为之疯狂了。箇中 原因，除了因为社会普遍集体怀旧，超模们如Kate Moss、Agyness Deyn、Chanel Iman的推波助澜，也是一大原因。Chloe Sevigny、Sienna Miller能从芸芸女星中脱颖而出，被公认时尚品味高人一等，便是因为他们对古着独具慧眼，懂得利用古着为自己打造出与众不同的风格。

当然，古着风越来越被接受，也源于时尚爱好者对高街时尚（high street fashion）的倦怠。高街时尚固然紧贴潮流，但身穿这些大众品牌的时装，却完全丧失了独特性，毫无个人风格可言，任何人都可以轻易复制你身上的风格。 而古着衣通常仅此一家，别人就算想抄袭，也休想轻易办到。

讽刺的事，一些高街时尚的品牌意识到古着越来越受重视，也开始推出了复古风格的成衣。但这根本就违反了时尚爱好者发掘古着的精神啊。

我从父亲衣柜里翻出了一件风衣，布料多好，设计多经典啊，今天穿也不过时——可惜尺码太大了。我穿在身上，实在不甘。不过我还是决定留下它。也许以后能穿 吧。不过，要我练到爸爸那么壮硕，大概是很困难了。变胖可能比较容易。可是，真的胖到可以穿这件衣服的时候，应该很难高兴起来吧？实在是令人哭笑不得的 dilemma。还是我该那么想，有一天我真的变胖的话，至少还有一件值得安慰的事。
